Guest Reviews of the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel

I’ve stayed here before and find it every bit as great. Love the bar, the restaurant and the rooms. The staff are well trained and it’s great for an early am departure. Another great Fairmont experience

Westin Grand Hotel Vancouver

Stayed here during our trip to Vancouver for my mom’s birthday. It’s located very close to Robson street if you’re a compulsive shopper. The lobby was kind of small and you had to take an elevator up 3 stories to get to it. But walking around downtown Vancouver, land is very scarce, so I’ll let that one slide. The hotel is very close to Stanley Park.

If you are taking a ferry to Victoria, stay elsewhere, because the drive from the hotel to the ferry is 45 mins. We found out the hard way and had to take a helicopter there (helipad was located in downtown).

Room space was okay. The bedroom was actually separate from the living room, which made the rooms feel smaller than they actually were. But the plus is you get a TV in the bedroom and the living room. The bathroom had sufficient space and was elegant. You could actually open the bathroom door without hitting someone sitting on the toilet…haha.

Paid $200/night for the rooms here. Considering the location, downtown Vancouver density, and the quality of the room, it was very good value. Booked it through www.Allure-Hotels.com

Brentwood Bay Lodge Victoria

Brentwood Bay Lodge Victoria

Brentwood Bay in Victoria BC

We stayed for two nights on route to the Campbell River on a trip from London. The setting is beautiful with lovely views across the water, although a little isolated. Our room was by far the best that we had throughout our trip, incredibly comfortable and perfect for a romantic break. The shutters from the huge whirlpool bath can be left open to have a fabulous view across the bay, every conceivable luxury included in the room – even a kettle as well as a French coffee maker with a variety of herbal teas available. The staff were friendly and helpful, working out routes for our next stage of the journey. Lovely small swimming pool and tub on the deck. Food interesting in the main restaurant, but not quite so exciting in the pub. We loved this hotel – a real treat.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 days and were very pleased about the size of the room.
The location is perfect if you want to stroll around downtown.
The only negative thing is that you have to pay extra if you want to use WIFI internet in the room.

Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver

We booked the metropolitan online, after reading some of the reviews on TA. What a fantastic choice!  Our room was very large, and featured a very comfortable king bed with soft sheets, a down comforter and lots of pillows. .. Vancouver Metropolitan Hotel Reviews
