My husband and I pored over hotels to choose one for our honeymoon. We finally settled on a penthouse suite here and absolutely could not have been more pleased. We LOVED this place! ALL of the staff we came into contact with were welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond to be helpful. They drew us a map to the airport at 5am and even went so far as to help me arrange secret surprises for my husband’s birthday and sneakily orchestrate them! In all the service we encountered even the smallest details were attended to. The location is FANTASTIC for anyone who wants to be close to downtown but not right in the middle of the busy traffic and challenging parking. The wonderful public market and numerous restaurants and shops are just a quick walk away, as are the ferries that take you to other parts of Vancouver.

Just returned from a 3 week tour of BC with my husband and 3 year old son. We used the Fairmont as our base whilst in Vancouver and personally believe it is in the best location. There is a lovely pedestrian friendly walk along the sea-wall past the float planes to Stanley Park and all its many wonderful attractions, gas town is close by, the main shopping area is a short walk away
